Ingredients
300-500
g
new potatoes

thick sausages,
pork, beef, chicken, or vegetarian (see Note)

x 400g can chopped tomatoes
1
x 400g can baked beans
1
tablespoon
Worcester Sauce
(15ml)

dried mixed herbs
(10ml)

red wine or stock

3.5l slow cooker or crockpot
Instructions
Slice the potatoes thinly (approx. ½ cm)
Cut each sausage into 3 pieces and put in the bottom of the Slow Cooker
Empty the tins of tomatoes and beans, with the Worcester Sauce, herbs, wine or stock, and hot water into a bowl and mix thoroughly
Pour about a quarter of the sauce over the sausages
Add the potatoes and the remaining sauce in two batches and stir to ensure all the potatoes are covered
Cook for 5-6 hours on HIGH or 8-10 hours on LOW
Notes
If you use vegetarian sausages you might want to brown them for a better texture.
